A good place to buy animals is a farm; a baby may have just been born; it may need a loving family.
These animals belong to the weasel family and inhabit areas in the vicinity of water. They feed on fish, crayfish, water fowl, as well as rodents, snakes, rabbits, nesting birds and their eggs. Breeding takes place in February and March, and gestation period continues 45-50 days on the average.

American Minks are highly territorial and solitary. They mark their territory with an odorous secretion from their anal glands, and can be as smelly as skunks. Males are extremely aggressive toward other males and fight viciously should they come together. A good place to buy animals is a farm; a baby may have just been born; it may need a loving family.
